Live Art Event

Rules and Regs is a practise-led development platform supporting Live Artists to create new work in response to rules that challenge habits and stimulate creativity. Four artists challenge South Hill Park to find new ways to use its grand building and grounds to support the creation of new work. There will be eight performances on both days.

Rules for creating new work:

Rule 1: Performance must react to the historical context of South Hill Park or the mansion

Rule 2: Performance must be performed twice each day in different locations and leave no physical trace behind

Rule 3: Performance must alter the use of an object found on-site.

Rule 4: Performance must explore ways to engage with a range of age groups

Rules and Regs artists:

John Dummett
