ArtSway - New Forest Pavilion

ArtSway is celebrating its tenth anniversary with exhibitions in the New Forest and Venice.

VENICE

A New Forest Pavilion will be presented once more at this year's Venice Biennale, following its inaugural success in 2005. Simon Faithfull, Beate Gütschow, Anne Hardy, Igloo and Melanie Manchot have all completed residencies at ArtSway over the past decade, and Stanza was selected by SCAN, which is hosted at ArtSway. The work in the exhibition explores, in a variety of methodologies and approaches, the experience of transformation, modification and change. The project is an official collateral event of the Venice Biennale, at Pallazo Zenobio, alongside the Scottish Pavilion, the Institute of Italo-Latin America, the Armenian Pavilion and an Australian Pavilion project

A full colour catalogue accompanies the exhibition with the following contributions: Martin Coomer on Simon Faithfull, Anna-Catharina Gebbers on Beate Gütschow, John Slyce on Anne Hardy, David Thorp on Melanie Manchot, Colm Lally and Cecilia Wee on Igloo and Charlotte Frost on Stanza.

New Forest Pavilion takes place between Sun 10 Jun and Sun 1 Jul 2007 at Palazzo Zenobio, in the Dorsoduro district of Venice.
