Everything You Wanted To Know About Live Art But Were Afraid To Ask 2007 - London, Birmingham and Leeds, May 2007

A day of information and advice about Live Art aimed at recent graduates, emergent artists, and anybody who is interested in finding out more about Live Art.

For the first time Everything You Wanted To Know About Live Art events are taking place across the UK, with one in London for artists based in the South, one in Birmingham for artists based in the Midlands, and one in Leeds for artists based in the North.

"I wish there'd been something like this when I left college." Franko B

Everything You Wanted To Know About Live Art events will include an introduction to the Live Art sector, a sense of how things work, practical information about what's on offer, and opportunities to access guidance, advice and expertise from experienced artists. The events might cover issues ranging from how to approach research and training, how to network, how to make a successful collaboration, how to market and promote your work, how to develop practices within a range of different contexts and sites, how to think about documentation, how to work across platforms and media, how to stay 'in touch', how to be 'in control', how to sustain a practice over many years, and how to survive as an artist.
