My House Projects - Opportunity For Residency

An opportunity for 20 artists to collaborate, create new artworks, network and plan for the future, in an intense four day residency. The structure of the residency will be based around activities each evening, in which the content will be arranged and structured by the participants during the day. My House Projects will be seeking artists who will engage with the Shining Cliff residency to the full, and are expected to have an attitude that is open to debate and collaboration.

Artists are expected to attend the entire 4-day residency from 2pm on the 26th February until 2pm on the 1st of March. The attending artists will be asked to present either their work in progress, actual artwork, and/or new ideas for group debate. Artists will also have the opportunity to create and present new work within the Shining Cliff context. There will be no additional funding for materials, but there will be a digital/SLR camera available to document any outcomes, as well as access to a computer- no internet. Shining Cliff will provide shared accommodation, either 4 or 6 persons per room. Reasonable travel costs will be covered and sustenance provided.
