mac - Call for Artists
THE FANTASTICAL GARDEN OF EXTRAORDINARY DELIGHTS

mac will be undergoing major redevelopment in 2008/9 after which they will have a much improved building and a brand new gallery. Whilst the building is closed they plan to run a celebratory, offsite, outdoor programme within the same geographical area, focusing on the park where we reside.

mac would like to develop a number of site-responsive commissions and events based on the concept of the ‘Victorian Sideshow’ to take place in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, between May and Oct 2008.

Expressions of interest are particularly sought from individuals working in installation, sound, light, automata, performance, craft, design and architecture.
